Investors cheer listing of first US Bitcoin futures ETF on NYSE

Hyderabad: Cryptocurrency Bitcoin on Wednesday surged to all-time high of $65,778, a day after Bitcoin futures ETF making its debut on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Bitcoin rose about 3% to $66,443.85 by 10:40 a.m. ET, topping a previous record of $64,899 set in mid-April, as stated by CoinMarketCap.
Mainstream investors extended a heavy support to Bitcoin, which remained as numero uno in the global cryptocurrency space. Bitcoin ETF rose five per cent in its debut trading on NYSE.
Bitcoin surged to a record high as investors responded positively to the listing of the first US bitcoin futures exchange-traded fund (ETF).
On the other hand, world's second largest cryptocurrency Ethereum also moved up five per cent to over the $4,043.47, after touching its all-time intraday high of 4,380 in May. Other cyrptos Dogecoin and Solana declined over four per cent.
